The Guides
Guides to running your own communal creative workshop
If you've ever wanted to gather a room of women together - around paint, paper, and permission to slow down - this is where it starts.
This concept has reached 1.9 million people worldwide, been watched over 3.1 million times, and been picked up by hosts across 17 countries, from Norway to New Zealand, Florida to Vancouver. What began as one Reel has become a method — one I've now taught to hundreds of people running their own gatherings, workshops, and retreats.
Here's how it started.
When that first Reel went viral - thousands of comments asking how to do this themselves - I felt two things at once. The pull to share it, and the instinct to hold it close.
This format had taken years to develop. The way a room shifts when strangers pick up a paintbrush together. The conditions that make that happen. I wasn't sure I was ready to hand it over.
And then I decided that was exactly the wrong way to think about it. This concept feels too good to keep to myself. The world needs more of this, not less.
So I wrote it all down. Everything I know about how to gather people, and how to make it work.
Which guide is right for you?
The Simple Guide
This is the guide for you if you want to gather your own people — friends, family, colleagues — around a table and create something together. No art experience needed, no studio required. Just people, paint, and an afternoon nobody will forget.
The Full Guide
This is the guide for you if you want to run this as your own workshop - as a coach, retreat leader, therapist, or facilitator bringing groups together professionally. It's the complete method: the neuroscience behind why it works, the full facilitation framework, everything I've learned, plus a live webinar with me.
Everything you need to bring friends and family together around paint, flowers and a shared table.
You don't need to be an artist and you don't need a studio. All you need is a large table, some flowers, a roll of paper, an excuse to get people together. And this guide!
This simple guide will walk you through a two-hour communal painting gathering from start to finish: the materials, the atmosphere, and six drawing exercises that get everyone working at exactly the same level. No skill required. Just paint, connection and the joy of creating something as a group.
It's perfect for friends, families, birthdays, hen dos, baby showers, a slow Sunday afternoon. Any reason — or no reason at all.
This is for you if
You want to give the people in your life an experience they'll actually remember. Something different to another meal out. You've seen something like this and thought — I’d love to do that. You're not doing this commercially. You just want a beautiful, joyful gathering with no agenda beyond being together.

Want the full picture? This guide gives you a joyful, memorable gathering — but it doesn't include every technique that makes the artwork itself truly beautiful and cohesive. If you're thinking about doing this for paying guests, or you simply want the complete method, the Complete Facilitation Guide (£126) is what you need.

Ever since this concept went viral, I've been asked the same question every single day: how does the artwork look like that? How is it all connected? How do I integrate coaching?
The answer is in the complete formula. And I've included everything in this guide.
— What the full formula unlocks —
My Starter Guide gives people a genuinely joyful gathering. But the complete method includes something that changes the experience entirely - for the people in the room, and for the artwork itself.
There's a few tricks to making the artwork truly communal: layered, interconnected, cohesive. Without them, you get individual marks on a shared piece of paper. With them, you get something that looks like it was made by one creative mind.
Combined with the full facilitation framework - the prompts, the pacing, the energy reads, knowing when to ask a question and when to let silence hold the room - this is what creates the depth.
— This is for you if —
You want to run workshops for paying guests, not just friends. You want the artwork to look as good as it can. You're building a practice — a series, a retreat, a community - and you want the complete method from the start.
Or you're a coach, therapist or wellbeing practitioner. I originally created this workshop as a way to grow my coaching practice. Not as a marketing strategy - as an experience. One that lets people feel what it's like to be in a room with you before they ever book a session. There's a reason it works so well for this. It's all in the guide.
— Also included: recording of live group webinar OR your place in the second one in September —
A live session with me where you can ask anything - about facilitation, pricing, filling your first workshops, how to position this within your existing practice. Recorded for everyone who can't attend live.
